Garden fees are $18 per month per garden plot. This fee covers the irrigation system, all water costs and a shed full of tools for your use. Reduced fee garden plots are available for as many low-income gardeners as we can raise funds to support. We encourage plot sharing as well and will help you find a gardening buddy if you are interested in this option.
Gardening fees are paid twice yearly to coincide with our growing seasons. Dues for the April through September growing season are due on or before April 1st, and dues for the October through March growing season are due on or before October 1st. New gardeners fees are prorated based on the monthly garden fee rate. You may pay your garden fees below through PayPal. You are not required to have a PayPal account to use this method of payment. You may also send your check to Community Gardens of Tucson, PO box 65900, Tucson, AZ 85728. Please indicate garden name and plot number on your check.
REFUNDABLE PLOT CLEAN-OUT DEPOSIT
A one time $30 plot deposit is requested from all new gardeners (Site Coordinators have the authority to waive this fee for their gardens). When you leave your garden plot it should be cleaned out for the next gardener. The $30 will then be refunded to you.
As a community-based non-profit, Community Gardens of Tucson is dependent on your generous gifts in providing opportunities for Tucsonans who want to grow sustainable and fresh food in a neighborhood setting. In addition to general donations, you are invited to support our George Brookbank Scholarship Fund for low-income gardeners. Many of our low income gardeners include recently resettled international refugees. Donations are fully tax deductable.
You may make your donation below through PayPal. You are not required to have a PayPal account to use this method of payment.
Thank you to all our donors! CGT greatly appreciates your support!
