It’s cooling off a bit this week and it’s a good thing that the meetings have been moved back in the mornings.  This past weekend was a freebie since Melissa moved the Wilson meeting date around a bit.  This weekend is the Corbett meeting and it’ll be interesting to see how the onions are doing.  They arrived from Texas recently and are probably all planted by now.

Don’t forget that this Saturday is El Tour.  The route will be busy and your former newsletter editor will be out there giving it a go, so watch out.

This week’s garden meeting takes place on Sunday morning at 9am over at the Chaverim Garden.  It’ll be a busy day of tilling and shredding, so come out and watch if you’d like.  One of our long-time steering committee members, Bob Ishmael will be delivering the chipper-shredder to the garden, so come out and meet him. George will be handing out knowledge like candy and Jim Kelly is sure to have a story or two for ya.

This week’s happenings:

The November Steering Committee meeting will be on Thursday the 8th at Darlene’s. It’s a 9am showtime for any gardeners who are interested in attending. If you need directions, email Andy or Darlene.

This month’s Presidio Garden meeting will be on Saturday at 9am. Will this be the day that the compost gets chewed up? Tune in to see for sure. Look to the locations page for contact info.

This month’s Sabino Vista Garden meeting will be Sunday at 4pm. It sounds like Teddy has a potluck in mind, so bring something good to eat!

A New Look

The website’s new look came online today thanks to a handy wordpress theme that was created in Germany. Andy will be working it over some and kicking the tires, so be prepared for some strange things to happen.
