CGT welcomes groups and individuals to come help out during our regular garden workparties.

These volunteer events are held throughout our garden network and throughout the year! Though, like other desert-dwellers, we're most active outside the summer months.

Specialized Skills

We are always seeking committed volunteers who can offer their specialized skills in gardening, outreach, education, community building, and more.

We have numerous ways to apply your skills, including serving on a committee or our Board of Directors, as well as project-specific interests.

Community Service

CGT is proud to work with individuals 18 years or older who need to fulfill court-ordered community service hours. We can provide validation after the completion of volunteer hours.

Board of Directors

​

CGT's Board of Directors is responsible for the highest level decision-making within the organization, such as budget approvals.

​

​

Governance Committee

​

CGT's Governance Committee is responsible for monitoring the activities of the Board of Directors as well recruiting Board members and setting the process for joining the Board.

​

Operations & Education Committee

The Operations & Education Committee is responsible for approving infrastructure changes, advising staff on best practices for day-to-day operations and making recommendations for educational materials and workshops.

Fundraising and Outreach Committee

The Fundraising and Outreach Committee is responsible for drafting and approving plans for fundraising events, engaging with community partners and seeking out other fundraising opportunities.
